MADEMOISELLE CARO

Mademoiselle Caro - DJ / Musician

Crosstown Rebels | Buzzin’ Fly Records | Throne of Blood

Music Genre: Dark Disco, Deep Techno (100% vinyl), Indie Dance and Rock influences

After more than a decade shaping Parisian nightlife from behind the scenes, Mademoiselle Caro returns fully to the dancefloor — focused, renewed, and deeply connected to her club roots.

A French DJ and producer with a strong vinyl background, Mademoiselle Caro (Caroline Laher) began her journey at 20 by opening a record store in Perpignan, immersing herself in electronic music at its source. Her move to Paris quickly placed her at the heart of the underground scene, leading to an eight-year residency at the legendary Rex Club, alongside a residency at pioneering LGBT club Pulp, two institutions that defined her artistic identity.

Her DJ sets stand out for their sensitive, deep musicality, blending dark disco, indie, techno, and rock influences to create an emotional tension that is both dark and vibrant. She plays what she feels: dark, sensual, and melancholic music, charged with energy and intensity. Recognized for the power and generosity of her 100% vinyl sets, she asserts an instinctive attachment to the roots of club culture and a strong technical command.

Internationally, she has played across Berlin, London, Milan, Barcelona, Dakar, Moscow, Tahiti and New Caledonia, building a reputation for depth, intensity and musical coherence. As a producer, she co-released the seminal track “Far Away” with Franck Garcia on Crosstown Rebels, followed by two albums on Buzzin’ Fly (Ben Watt), alongside numerous remixes and collaborations.

For over ten years, Mademoiselle Caro curated lineups and shaped sound identities as music programmer for Rosa Bonheur in Paris, influencing a generation of artists and audiences. Today, she steps back into the spotlight with a renewed creative focus, balancing the raw energy of the club with refined studio work.

She is currently working on a solo EP and a new collaborative EP with Franck Garcia, marking the beginning of a new chapter — deeper, darker, and fully dancefloor oriented.
