Tim Sean-Lee is a Music-Producer / DJ born and raised in 1980 in Germany, Heidelberg with Mongolian and Scottish roots. In 1998, he starts spinning his sets with the original sound of Detroit Electro moving around in the US and Europe.

In 2007, after few years living in Detroit, he sets in Berlin.  

With a background as professional dancer and choreograph, the music production came to him like an obviousness and in 2019, he builds up his Music-Studio in Berlin-Mitte.

Tim Sean-Lee passionately digs into retro-futuristic time dimensions to create his own style of sound with high-voltage electro.

To bring out his own dry & raw percussive-sound of music, he works with a mix of origin vintage analog synthesizers & analog drum machines from the past decades.

His DJ-Sets are powerful rhythmical and focused on moving the crowd to his dark-sensual journey. Between 125BPM and 145BPM he feels at home and transforms the dance floor into a trembling time capsule from Classic Electro to Detroit Electro, EBM, IDM and Detroit Techno.

The EP debut “Eruption” is a big success and hits the international electro album charts-No1, electronica album charts No4.

Tim Sean-Lee’s music releases are getting more and more attention and played by internationally renowned artists such as Dave Clarke, Maetrik/Maceo Plex, John Digweed, Massimiliano Pagliara, Murat Uncuoglu, Marco Carola and more.

His last EP „Cybernetic Queen“ released in 2024 gets into the TOP 5 Album Electro releases and charts as TOP 2 Best of February releases on the international Music Platform Beatport.

In 2022, he founds his own Record Label – Monotone Sound.
